Double Deep Forklift Operator

Programmed Skilled Workforce are currently seeking reliable and experienced High reach (double deep) forklift operators to join our new client site that has just opened in Dandenong South!


Positions are to commence ASAP on the day shift Monday-Friday. Our client is a cheese manufacturing site looking for casual employees wanting that are wanting to gain employment within a new site with new opportunities.


The role:

• Operate counterbalance forklifts
• Unloading/loading of trucks (on docks, containers, tautliners, flat beds, pan, etc)
• Operate high reach double deep forklifts in freezer
• Pick, pack, and prepare materials for production staging
• Prepare pallets, including wrapping, securing, and moving to correct warehouse zones
• Participate in and complete cycle counts

• Be comfortable in retrieving and putting away stock in the freezer storage area at minus 20 degrees temperature when required
• Servicing production
• Completing prestart checklist or inspections
• Completing QA and or food compliance paperwork
• Downstacking / breaking down pallets
• Putaways
• About you:

• Current LF licence with over 12 months double deep experience
• Previous experience working in the dairy/food/pharmaceutical industry required
• Effective communication skills
• Can demonstrate understanding of GMP and HACCP principles.
• Can demonstrate safe work practices
• Able to lift up to 25kgs
• Must be available day shift Monday-Friday every week
